振幅
由三个参数描述的运动:
- 位置。除非另有明确说明,否则假定位置位于谐振器端面的中心。
- 数值。传统上超声振幅以峰‑峰值来规定。然而,加速度力、应力和应变是由峰值振幅、而非峰‑峰值来确定的。因此,本站将使用峰值振幅(少数遗留情况除外)。对于可能引起混淆的文字,振幅将写作 "microns_peak"(微米_峰值)。在公式中,振幅一般简单地写作 \( U \),其中隐含为峰值振幅。

Amplitude
Motion that is described by three parameters:
- Location. If not otherwise explicitly stated, the location is assumed to be at the center of the resonator's face.
- Value. Traditionally ultrasonic amplitudes have been specified as peak-to-peak values. However, acceleration forces, stresses, and strains are determined from peak amplitudes, rather than peak-to-peak. Thus, peak amplitudes will be used on this site (with a few legacy exceptions). For text where there may be any confusion the amplitude will be written as "microns_peak". In equations the amplitude will generally be written simply as \( U \) where peak amplitude is implied.
- Direction. Often, only a single component of motion is specified or measured, even though motions in other directions exist. If not otherwise explicitly stated, "amplitude" is assumed to refer only to the component parallel to the principal vibration direction (e.g., axial amplitude for axial vibration, radial amplitude for radial vibration, etc.).
