有限元分析(FEA)
一种通过将系统离散化为大量相互连接的小单元(有点像拼图)并分析这些单元之间的相互作用来预测系统性能的计算方法。FEA 可用于分析声学系统(如超声谐振器)、热系统、流体系统、电磁系统等等。多物理场耦合分析也是可能的(例如,对压电陶瓷施加电激励,然后确定由此产生的机械运动)。

Finite element analysis (FEA)
A computational method for predicting a system's performance by discretizing the system into a large number of small connected elements (somewhat like a jigsaw picture puzzle) and analyzing the interactions among of these elements. FEA can be used to analyze acoustic systems (e.g., ultrasonic resonators), thermal systems, fluid systems, electromagnetic systems, and many more. Multimodal analyses are possible (e.g., applying electrical excitation to piezoelectric ceramics for which the resulting mechanical motion can then be determined).
Also called "finite element method", FEM.
