波速
指定的声学波(如压力波、剪切波等)沿指定方向在材料中传播的速度。波速取决于材料的属性以及波所穿过的物体(如谐振器)的尺寸和形状。此外,如果材料是正交各向异性或各向异性的,则波速还取决于波相对于材料方向的传播方向。
波速通常用字母 \( c \) 表示(源自拉丁文 celeritas,意为"速度")。
Wave speed
The speed at which a specified acoustic wave (e.g., pressure wave, shear wave, etc.) travels through a material in a specified direction. The wave speed will depend on the material's properties and the dimensions and shape of the object (e.g., the resonator) through which it is traveling. In addition, if the material is orthotropic or anisotropic then the wave speed will depend on the direction of the wave with respect to the material direction.
Wave speed is commonly designated by the letter \( c \) (from the Latin celeritas meaning "velocity").
