对于介电材料,介电常数在一定程度上决定了施加电场所能感应出的电荷量。
也称为"相对介电常数"或"相对电容率"。

Dielectric constant K
The ratio of the permittivity \( \varepsilon \) of the material to the permittivity \( \varepsilon_0 \) of free space (8.85419 x 10-12 Coulomb/N-m2).

For a dielectric material, the dielectric constant determines, in part, the charge that can be induced by an applied electric field.
