Polar mount

A cylindrical assembly enclosing the booster that is used to support the stack. Because of its lateral rigidity, the polar mount is used for applications where force is applied to the side of the horn (e.g., metal welding, shear plastic welding, etc.).

Because it is cylindrical, the polar mount can be easily rotated to various static positions or it can be used in rotating machinery.

In addition to the booster, a polar mount consists of the following items —
Diaphragms (2 pieces)
End caps (2 pieces)
Clamp tube
